From as far back as I can remember, all I have ever wanted to be was a singer; all I have ever wanted to do was write my own songs, because there was no time when I didn't wake up with a song in my head! It's taken some years longer than expected , and I've had my own family to raise in that time, but there's one thing you can always count on with a dream that's meant to be: it never fades!

So here I am at last, forging my own path thru Minstrel Ville, and I am doing so without the aid of big production backing bands and tricky gadgets. What you see and hear is exactly what you get - and hopefully! that's exactly what you've been waiting for all this time!

My music is somewheres between country and folk I suppose, and tho' I don't much like to pigeon-hole music to any specific genre, for the sake of those who must have a box to put me in, I hereby dub myself 'Folktry' for now!

I write from experiences both personal and recounted, and at all times I strive for Simplicity.

I use acoustic guitars, stomp box ,tambourine plus a little harp thru out a large repertoire of covers and originals and perform regularly at pubs, markets, festivals, events in and around my local area.

I have also won this year's TSA National Songwriting Contest in Tamworth, and was a Top 10 Finalist in the 2007 fRETfEST FIND OF THE YEAR contest, and Top 5 Folk Finalist in America's SONG OF THE YEAR 2007.

I look forward to sharing my music with you all ~ so if you have the venue , I'll make the trip !:)
