The Last Resort is Sydney meets Berlin with the resulting blend of nu-jazz, electronica and soul. Originating in Berlin - one of europe's most vibrantly creative cities in 2007, The Last Resort formed as a collaboration between Sydney and Berlin musicians. A founding member of the funky electronica band 'Tracky Dax', keyboardist Al Goodman and Sydney jazz singer Kirsten Allison teamed up with Berlin musicians Holger Marseille (Jazzanova, Jahcoozi) on drums and Jan Stremple (Ricobabes) on bass. Returning to Australia 2009 , The Last Resort now features local drummer Jared Underwood (Coda,Prop) for dynamic live performances in Sydney.
